Klean Group of Companies
Klean Graphite is one division of the Klean group of companies, a Vancouver-based cleantech organisation built around recovering energy, fuels and carbon from waste.
The common thread running through every part of the group is thermal conversion. Material that the world currently pays to dispose of — end-of-life tires, plastics, organic residues — is heated under controlled conditions and comes back out as fuel, carbon and energy. Graphite and conductive carbon are simply the most refined end of that output.
The Engineering Core
Klean Industries engineers and owns thermal-treatment plants across pyrolysis, gasification and carbonization. These are not laboratory concepts; they are plants designed, procured, built and operated to convert waste streams into saleable products. That engineering core is what every division of the group draws on, whatever product name sits on the front door.
Divisions Around a Common Technology
- Carbon and graphite — recovered carbon black, carbon products and graphite grades for batteries, lubricants, refractories and polymers.
- Nanocarbon materials — graphene, carbon nanotubes and fullerenes, accessed through a marketing and technology relationship with Mitsubishi, a nanocarbon producer.
- Biochar — carbonization of organic feedstocks into stable carbon and renewable energy.
- Gasification and hydrogen — converting waste into syngas and downstream fuels and energy.
Why the Group Structure Helps a Carbon Project
A carbon materials project is rarely only a materials question. It touches feedstock supply, thermal process design, emissions and permitting, product handling, and offtake. A group that already covers thermal conversion, energy recovery and carbon products can answer more of those questions internally, which shortens the distance between a first enquiry and a technically grounded proposal. A trader cannot tell you why your carbon has the ash content it has. An engineering group can.
Where an Enquiry Should Start
If the question is about graphite grades, conductive carbon, anode material or carbon specifications, Klean Graphite is the right entry point and brings in the wider group where the scope demands it. If the project is further upstream — a waste stream looking for a conversion route — the enquiry is routed to the relevant division rather than turned away. Either way, the opening conversation covers feedstock, tonnage, specification, location and project stage.
